The Creative Corner had a successful
Grand Re-Opening at our new Glen Spey location!
We had a fun filled day at the Creative Corner's Grand Re-Opening at it's new location, in Glen Spey, NY. Bicycles are the rage now, and we made this neat little card using the new bicycle and background stamps from Hero Arts and Tim Holtz' distress inks. We also had a chance to see some of the new stamps from Savvy.

We had a fun day of stamping on Saturday,
Nov. 6, 2010!
Barbara and I taught together.....two very different styles........distress, vintage vs. classical, clean. We used the same stamps and made different cards in different styles.
By the end of the day, we created 6 different cards and 4 different tags! Plus we made a 3-D Birdhouse ornament. Snacks and goodies were provided for the day. For sample cards, they can be viewed on my blog.

Stacy Rich, owner of Stacy Stamps will teach this great class.We learned how to color with those beautifully vibrant creme metallic chalks and make some gorgeous cards using Stacy's new "Blue Eyed Baby" stamps. (The blue eyed babies are the bear cub, bunny, doe, lion cub, etc)
Summer Stamp Party in February!
We had a great turn out in February for our annual Summer Stamp Party.
We cranked up the heat, made drinks and STAMPED! We made invitations for summer cook-outs and more. This July our group will be all ready for their next party with great invitations and accessories.
Dave Brethauer, owner and artist of Memory Box visited the Creative Corner on July 22!
We learned about color, blending and shading while using Memory Box images and papers. We made 5 cards using colored pencil techniques that looked professional.
